| I write creative non-fiction, poetry, stage and screenplays in the voice of every woman – a voice inherited from my great-grandmother who wrote sheet music during the Depression. My freelance work is published in several Mid-Missouri publications including Inside Columbia, Columbia Business Times, Columbia Home, Jefferson City Business Times, Family, and Mid-Missouri Mature Living. My poetry is published in the 2001 and 2004 issues of Anvil & Lyre, 2005 and 2006 issues of Well-Versed, the 2006 issue of Harbinger, and the summer 2006 issues of Mom Writers Literary Magazine and the Mid-America Poetry Review. I'm thrilled to be one of fifty-three featured authors in the Bylines 2007 Writer’s Desk Calendar! I am the mother of six, Nana of six, foster mother of many, and have been married for 31 years. |
